Personal certification (DPO)

One of the new obligations is the appointment of the so-called data protection officer (DPO). Not all entities are required to appoint a data protection officer, mainly depending on the type and quantities of data collected, whether the processing of such data is your main activity, and whether you process data on a large scale. The duty of the data protection officer is to monitor the compliance of the data processing with the obligations arising out of the GDPR.
