Inspection/Registration of models

Products are introduced to the market using the system of evaluation of conformity of products in accordance with Act no. 90/2016 Coll.. as amended, and related Government Directives: Government Directive no. 118/2016 Coll.defining technical requirements for low-voltage electric equipment.
Government Directive no. 117/2016 Coll. on technical requirements for products in terms of their electromagnetic compatibility.
Government Directive no. 481/2012 Coll. on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electric and electronic equipment.

The operation of gaming machines and technical devices and systems for lotteries and other similar games in the Czech Republic must comply with the requirements contained in the following provisions:

• Decree no. 433/2021 Coll. on output documents for gambling (ISSUED)
• Decree no. 429/2021 Coll. amending Decree no. 208/2017 Coll., which defines the technical parameters for gambling devices and requirements for the protection and storage of gambling and financial data and their technical parameters (ISSUED)
• Assessment of the Impact of Regulation through the Gambling Act and Related Statutory Regulations – The Ministry of Finance has published an Assessment of the Impact of Regulation through the Gambling Act and Related Statutory Regulations, which was approved by the Government of the Czech Republic on 13 September 2021. The purpose of the analysis was to assess fulfilment of the goals and principles of the regulation of gambling and identify potential recommendations for their future development. (UPDATED)
• Decree no. 10/2019 Coll. on the means of notification and sending of information and the transmission of data by gambling operators, the scope of transferred data and other technical parameters for the transmission of data. The publication includes an English translation of the decree and a glossary of key terms in English.
